Info Highlight Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Info Highlight browser extension and its cloud service, operated by Qingyun Dong, an individual developer.
- Page text: With local analysis, text is not uploaded. With cloud analysis, text is sent to the author's servers to compute the result and is not stored.
- Anonymous statistics: The extension uses an anonymous install ID and sends usage statistics to improve the product. These are not linked to your identity.
- Feedback: When you submit feedback, the author receives what you send.
- API key: Cloud access uses an API key generated by the extension. The author stores that key and its linked credits/balance for access control and billing.
- Payments and orders: Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. The author does not receive card details. The author keeps order and payment-status records for reconciliation and to provide the service.
- The author uses third-party cloud and payment services to provide the service. The author does not sell data or use it for advertising. Data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
